Morgan Horses for Sale
The Allimax Farm Ideal Morgan: We raise big, strong, tough, gentle Morgan Horses, that are ready to work. When we say big, our goal is 16 hands, with strong bone, and well-muscled. They must have good feet and sound in all conformation aspects. One of our mares is over 16.2h. Almost every Morgan we have is 15.2h or better.
When we say ready to work, they should be easily able to travel 30 miles in a carriage, at a quick trot. We train them for the road trot, so they learn to extend their stride and cover the miles.
Our riding horses often spend six hours a day under saddle, and often half of that is at a trot or canter. When they come home, we want to see them relaxed and eager for more.
Our horses are bred for energy. If you want to go, they will be ready to go. They must be a pleasure to work around in the barn.
Mares: Currently we have six mares.
