Horseback Riding Lessons
Horsepals™

We offer riding lessons in Working Western Trail Riding, from beginner to
advanced.

Our riding lesson series is called "Horsepals™ " and is designed for a family-oriented, non-competitive experience. The beginner series is 14 lessons, and includes all the basic information that will make help you understand horses, and give you the confidence to ride successfully. Later series in more advanced riding continue to develop the skills and horsemanship knowledge.
Our topics include understanding horse temperament, controlling the horse, anatomy, safety issues, horse tack, stabling, nutrition, hooves, teeth, hand position, seat, reining techniques, riding at the walk and trot, cantering, doing work with horses, horse careers.
Our lessons are priced for the working families, and are very popular in this local area.
We believe that horsemanship is one way for people with a passion for horses to learn and refine other skills that make our lives complete.
We sign up students for lessons all year long. We work with each family to create an agreeable schedule. The lessons are pay-as-you-go.
Advanced students learn more about horsemanship, how to control the horse, using all the aids, much more practice on the three methods of riding the trot, types of turns, how to move the horse properly through advanced reining maneuvers, how to canter, and proper trail riding practices.
Throughout the year, we also have fun events for the students at the stable such as movie nights, parties, fun shows, summer camps, and the 4-H Equine club. Call for more information!
